So, i decided to make a personal homage to this painting by C.M.Coolidge, part of a series of 16 paintings from 1903 (Dogs Playing Poker), his only known work. This in particular is really referenced in popular culture and considered pretty kitschy, but i felt drawn to it from the first time i saw it. I find it really ahead of it's time, i love the quirkyness and all the details.
